Architectural Change Request Form (ARB Form)

Please fill out the form below to submit a request for an architectural change to your home. Once your form is received, a representative from the ARB will be in contact with you via email. At that time, you may be asked to provide drawings, color samples, etc. Those may be attached to your response email.

Describe the proposed change in as much detail as possible.

Please list the materials that will be used in this project.

If you are changing any exterior color (i.e., painting, re-siding) please provide the name of the manufacturer, color number, and be prepared to submit a color sample upon request.

Will any part of the proposed improvement extend beyond your property line?

If so, please provide the address of the affected homeowner. Approval will be required from the affected neighbor.

Will any part of the proposed improvement extend into any common area, utility, drainage or sewer easement, landscape easement, landscape preservation easement, or lake easement?

If yes, you will need to fill out the easement waiver. Note: Proposals to install fences, landscaping, watering systems, invisible dog fences, and landscaping near a property boundary, lake shore or pond bank, or within a setback shall be accompanied by an executed easement waiver.

An easement allows another person the right to use your land for a specific purpose. The most usual easements are those granted to public utility or telephone companies to run lines on or under your private property and to neighboring houses to use a common driveway to give access to their home. You, the owner(s) of the above property, of the Waterstone HOA hereby acknowledge, that you understand the responsibilities of developing into a known easement. You accept full responsibility of any cost to remove and/or replace this improvement if the easement owner or authorized party needs to access this area.
