Little Free Library Comes to Waterstone

Waterstone’s Little Free Library was designed and built by Brady Young.

Attention readers young and old! The Waterstone HOA Board is pleased to announce that a Little Free Library is now installed near the Waterstone playground for the benefit of the whole community.

For those unfamiliar with Little Free Libraries, or LFLs, they are free book-sharing boxes where anyone may take a book or share a book.

Little Free Libraries function on the honor system. Everyone contributes to ensure there are quality books inside. In this way, we all win!

Another great thing about the Little Free Library is this: You don’t need to share a book to take one. However, if you take a book, try to bring one (or more!) to share when you can.

Waterstone’s book-sharing box was built at minimal expense by the HOA’s capable handyman, Brady Young. The HOA deeply appreciates Brady’s efforts for the benefit of all Waterstone residents.

But wait! There’s more!

Waterstone’s Little Free Library will have a librarian! Lindsay McAteer, a Windpointe resident, has volunteered to be the library’s primary caretaker. She will keep the library clean and inviting. However, it is up to everyone who uses the library to donate good books to support the mission of building community, sparking creativity, and inspiring readers of all ages.

Enjoy this wonderful addition to Waterstone !
