New Categories for Holiday House Decorating Contest Announced
The Waterstone HOA Board is pleased to announce new categories for the 2022 Holiday House Decorating Contest!
This year’s category additions make it possible for more of the wonderfully decorated houses in our neighborhood to be recognized. There are even new categories that recognize the best streets and neighborhoods.
Winners in individual categories will be recognized with a yard sign that names the winning category, and have bragging rights for an entire year! Plus, the house will receive photo recognition in Stroll magazine.
Judging will take place on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
One house will be recognized in each of the categories below:
Decorating Categories
It’s a Wonderful Life (magical and creative)
Light Up the Town (creative use of all types of lighting)
Magical Masterpiece (a whimsical and humorous presentation)
Musical Wonderland
Reason for the Season
Santa’s Workshop
Through a Child’s Eyes
Traditionally Elegant
Twinkle, Twinkle (creative use of twinkling lights)
Winter Wonderland
Plus, one house/group of houses will be recognized in each of these categories:
