Merry and Bright: The Holiday Decorating Contest is Back!
The Waterstone HOA Holiday Decorating Contest is back for 2024!
This year, judging will take place on Sunday, December 22nd, and Monday, December 23rd. Be sure your lights are on, blinking bright, and turned up to maximum illumination. The judges want to see your house light up the winter night!
The categories for 2024 are:
It’s a Wonderful Life (most fun and spirited)
Magical Masterpiece (showing imagination and creativity)
O Tannenbaum! (most festively lit outdoor tree)
Tinsel Town (best section: Bayhill, Brookfield, Stonewick, or Windpointe)
Santa Claus Lane (best street)
Reason for the Season (best religious-themed display)
Traditionally Elegant (keeping it classy)
Plus, honorable mentions!
Winners will be announced Tuesday, December 24th. Each category will have one winner. Winners in individual categories will be posted online and be recognized in an upcoming issue of Stroll magazine.
