Holiday Decorating Contest is Back!
Ho ho ho! It’s time to hang the mistletoe and dig the holiday lights out of the attic. The Waterstone Holiday Decorating Contest is back for another season in 2023!
This year, judging will take place on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Judging will be completed by an independent panel of elves and snow angels. Frosty the Snowman will have the final vote in case of ties.
This year’s reindeer-approved categories are:
It’s a Wonderful Life (Fun and spirited)
Light Up the Town (Best use of lights)
Magical Masterpiece (Imagination and creativity)
Most Festive Outdoor Tree (O Tannenbaum!)
Most Festive Section in Waterstone (Bayhill, Brookfield, Stonewick, or Windpointe)
Most Festive Street (Best holiday lane)
Reason for the Season (Religious-themed display)
Traditionally Elegant (Keeping it classy)
Each category will have one winner. Winners in individual categories will be recognized with a yard sign…and have bragging rights for an entire year! Winners’ homes will also receive photo recognition in Stroll magazine.
