Summer At Waterstone
As we head into summer, it’s a good idea to remind our homeowners about some important lake and pool rules.
Lake Waterstone Rules
There may be no bikes, scooters, skateboards, skates (of any kind), rollerblades, or motorized modes of transportation or devices (of any kind) on the walking path. This is for the safety of our homeowners and their families.
No swimming in the lake.
Any Waterstone Homeowners Association members may fish from the lake bank from three locations:
the boat ramp;
the lake bank adjacent to the clubhouse; and
the lake bank of the common area just south of 126th Street along Bayhill Drive.
Please fish from the path and do not stand on the stones around the lake. No one may use a lake property owner’s dock or lake-adjacent bank (land) without that lake property owner’s specific permission. Guests must be accompanied by a homeowner. No one can give someone outside of Waterstone permission to fish on the lake unaccompanied.
Please don’t allow anyone to throw the rocks around our lakes into the water. Our homeowners pay for those rocks.
Dogs must be on leashes per the City of Carmel Leash Ordinance. Owners must clean up their dog’s feces and any other “messes” made by their pet, and must sanitarily dispose of the same.
Please don’t litter. We have trash cans around the lake.
Non-lakefront owners are limited to the following types of non-motorized watercraft: canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, rowboats, and sailboats. Entry and exiting Lake Waterstone must occur only at the common area boat ramp located at the south end of Heatherstone Place.
No anchors of any type may be used on Lake Waterstone, due to the lake liner.
Pool Rules
Residents in good standing may bring up to four guests per adult resident. A resident of the community must accompany all guests at all times.
Residents must possess their family key fob to be admitted to the pool. No one will be admitted without their pool tag (RFID fob).
Lifeguards may not leave their posts to admit someone into the pool. This is simply not safe.
Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by a resident adult. (Maximum 4 children per adult.)
The full lake and pool rules are posted on the HOA website here. Thank you for your your cooperation with our community rules, and we hope you have a great summer!
