To Proxy or Not to Proxy

On Thursday, May 4, at 7:00 pm, the Waterstone Annual Homeowners Meeting gala will take place. The question we must all ask ourselves is—will we be in attendance?

Hopefully the answer is yes! Yes!

But if, perhaps, you will be on a fabulous trip to Machu Picchu or Bora Bora, and you still want to vote in the upcoming HOA election, what is a bon vivant to do?

The elegant solution is to submit a proxy vote for the election. The proxy will be voted by the Board Secretary.

You can also use the proxy form to designate another person in attendance (who, sadly, is not in Peru or French Polynesia with you) to vote in your stead.

Sending in a proxy vote is not only thrilling, but it also helps center your chi and will bring enlightenment. More importantly, your proxy vote will ensure that a quorum is established for conducting the meeting.

Creating a proxy vote is easy. You may fill out the proxy form, which is available in the annual meeting packet mailed to your home. You may also find the proxy form at this link and on the website under Waterstone Documents.

Then, simply send the proxy vote to Kirkpatrick Management Company using one of the methods below:

  • Email the form to jwinship@ekirkpatrick.com.

  • Fax the form to (317) 594-5774.

  • Mail the form to 5702 Kirkpatrick Way, Indianapolis, IN, 46220.

All proxy votes, if given to the Board via Kirkpatrick Management, are due by April 28, 2023.

Remember! If you are planning exotic travel and will miss our Annual Meeting,  please consider sending in a proxy form to KMC. Otherwise, we will see you May 4!
