Entrance Beautification Kicks Off Landscaping Master Plan

Windpointe Entrance

Workers from Yorkshire Landscaping recently powerwashed the decorative rocks at the Windpointe entrance.

You’ve probably heard people say, “Put your best foot forward.” A nice mashup of this expression is, “Put your best face forward.” Both phrases are used to stress the importance of a great first impression. Well, thanks to some hard work by local landscaping crews, that’s exactly what’s happening at Waterstone.

Work recently began at various Waterstone entrances as part of the landscaping master plan. The plan was developed last year for the Waterstone Homeowners Association by Hittle Landscape.

At the September 2021 Waterstone HOA Board of Directors meeting, the board awarded a contract to Yorkshire Landscaping to begin work on three entrances: The Brookfield entrance at Jeffries Place, the Stonewick entrance, and the Windpointe entrance. The contract includes:

  • removal of many older plantings;

  • cleaning decorative stone walls; and

  • adding new plants, grasses, trees, and mulch.

At its October 2021 monthly meeting, the board awarded additional landscape work to Yorkshire Landscaping for:

  • the Bayhill entrance at 126th Street;

  • the entrance at Bayhill Drive and Spring Violet Place; and

  • work at the intersection of Pebblepointe Pass and Springbrooke Run.

The replacement of a number of neighborhood entrance signs will also likely be planned.

For more information and updates, we encourage you to contact your board representative.
